GPS Synchronization System

The synchronization equipment CSS-GPS contains the necessary electronics for communication and synchronization of partial discharge measurements between the CPU of the Control Analysis System CAS and measurement systems MS.

Communication between the control CPU and the MS is performed through a converter Ethernet to optical fiber. The synchronism between measurement systems MS is accomplished by transmitting pulses on fiber optic. The CSS-GPS equipment has a PPS output for the synchronization of MS that permits to obtain analysis of PD location and PD ratio between discharges obtained with measurement systems of BlueBOX technology that work with GPS synchronization.

Also CSS-GPS can be used to calibrate the propagation delays of the synchronization signal through optical fiber.


CSS-VR

Synchronization System through 10-300 Hz AC voltage reference

The synchronization equipment CSS contains the necessary electronics to make the communication and synchronization of the partial discharges measurements between the CPU of the Control and Analysis System CAS and the Measurement Systems MS.

The communication between the control CPU and the MS is done through converter from Ethernet to optical fiber. The synchronism between the measuring systems MS is carried out by means of the pulse transmisión along the optical fiber. The CSS equipment has a PPS input for the fiber calibration and also allows the power supply derivation for various measuring systems MS.
