Optimized Portable System for Partial Discharge Monitoring

The measurement instrument MS Pico is the ideal solution for the measurement of partial discharges in services for spot monitoring in agile and simple way. It includes a last generation recorder with the capacity to capture partial discharges and perform a complete diagnosis. It allows to realise a measurement of partial discharges in less than 3 minutes.

This equipment allows the capture of signals of partial discharges and voltage reference to obtain the parameters of frequency and phase shift. It has functions to use a voltage reference with variable frequency configured by user. The system allows to transmit to a PC the captured raw signals for partial discharges and voltage reference. The control of the equipment is made from the PC through a USB 3.0 connection. The MS Pico measurement equipment is designed to make measurements quickly and easily, making it an excellent tool for both periodic maintenance and aceptance tests.


MS Plus Portable

Portable System for Partial Discharges Measurement

The MS Plus Portable equipment is the ideal solution for the measurement of partial discharges in timely or temporary monitoring services. It contains the measuring electronics inside a suitcase with IP65 degree of protection for use in outdoor installations. Inside it has space to transport all the necessary accessories to be able to realize the capture of partial discharges and make a complete diagnosis. It allows to complete a measure of partial discharges in less than 30 minutes being able to extend the time to a temporary monitoring of several days.

This equipment allows the capture of partial discharge and voltage reference signals to obtain the frequency and phase offset parameters. It has functions to configure the armed with synchronization, or by synchronization input signal by optical fiber or by forced internal synchronization. The system allows the transmission of raw partial discharges and voltage reference signals to be transmitted to a central control PC (CAS). The control of the equipment is done from the server PC through an Ethernet network connection through any of the three available ports (1 electrical and 2 optical).

The MS Plus Portable measuring instrument is designed to operate in a dedicated network with an available bandwidth of 100 Mbps. It can be installed in series with other measurement systems to perform monitoring with multiple measurement points.

Measuring System for On-line Partial Discharges Monitoring

The partial discharge measuring equipment MS Plus is capable to do the capture of partial discharge signals and voltage reference signals.

It has functions to configure the armed with synchronization, or by optical fiber synchronization input signal or by forced internal synchronization. The system allows to transmit to the central control PC (CAS) the RAW captured signals of the discharges and the voltage reference.

This system can be controlled from the PC by means of an Ethernet network connection through any of the three available ports (1 electric and 2 optic).

The MS Plus is designed to operate in a dedicated network with an available bandwidth of 100Mbps. It can be installed in series with other MS Plus to make a monitoring with multiple measuring points.


MAS

Autonomous System for On-line Partial Discharges Monitoring

The partial discharges measuring equipment MAS is capable to do the capture and the analysis of partial discharge signals and voltage signals.

It has functions to configure the armed with GPS synchronization using the internal PPS signal and synchronization by means of a trigger condition based on the values of the analogic channels. The system allows to transmit to the control PC the RAW captured signals and the processed information of the discharges and the voltage reference.

This system can be controlled from the PC by means of an Ethernet network connection through any of the three available ports (1 electric and 2 optic).

The main feature of this measuring system is its operation in autonomous mode.This operation mode allows to do captures in a defined process by means of an editable script. This behavior defined in the script can order the measurement realization with the channels and the periodicity wanted.The script has functions to do the data sending to a remote monitoring server or to store them in the SD card for later download.

This system can be the solution for installations where the optical fiber wire and/or power cable lay out is non-viable. Its low consumption, its GPS synchronization, its capacity to process the information of the discharges, its capacity to analyze the voltage reference signal and its behavior in autonomous mode, make posible the sensor installation in remote positions from the substation where the electrical power supply cannot reach and where an optical fiber connection does not exist (for example: joint chambers, substations, towers, etc.).
